Diesen Sommer feiert das FM4 FreQuency Festival sein 25-jähriges Jubiläum mit einem beeindruckenden Line-up, das dem Sommer und seinen 150.000 Besuchern gewidmet ist.

Was das Wetter betrifft, laut den Prognosen erwartet uns an allen drei Festivaltagen angenehmes Wetter:
Am Mittwoch, den 13. August, zwischen 17°C und 25°C,
am Donnerstag, den 14. August, zwischen 16°C und 26°C
und am letzten Tag, Freitag, den 15. August, zwischen 17°C und 25°C.

18 ganze Jahre sind vergangen, seit wir zum ersten Mal das FM4 FREQUENCY Festival in Koppll (Salzburg) besucht haben – und natürlich sind wir auch dieses Jahr wieder dabei, vom 13. bis 15. August 2025, beim größten Musikfest Europas!

Harry Jenner ( Director of FM4 FREQUENCY FESTIVAL) is the man who, with passion, foresight, and a deep connection to the pulse of live music, transformed a local event into one of Europe’s most iconic music festivals.

This summer, the FM4 FreQuency Festival is celebrating its 25th anniversary with an impressive line-up dedicated to summer and its 150,000 visitors.

We’ll have the chance to enjoy live performances by … Post Malone, Chappell Roan, Papa Roach, Central Cee, Scooter, Will Smith, Kygo, Aurora, Finch, Nina Chuba, Shawn Mendes, Suki Waterhouse, and more!

As for the weather, according to forecasts, all three festival days are expected to be pleasant:
on Wednesday, August 13th, temperatures will range from 17°C to 25°C , on Thursday, August 14th, from 16°C to 26°C and on the final day, Friday, August 15th, from 17°C to 25°C.

It’s been 18 whole years since we first attended the FM4 FREQUENCY Festival in Koppll (Salzburg) – and of course, we’ll be there again this year, from August 13 to 15, 2025, at the biggest music party in Europe!

Ich muss gleich am Anfang ehrlich gestehen…
Ich freue mich schon wirklich sehr auf das Festival.
Allein wenn ich daran denke, wie großartig die Musik, die Atmosphäre und die langen Nächte voller Spaß sein werden, bekomme ich schon Gänsehaut.

Weil ich ja direkt neben dem Gelände wohne, bekomme ich den Aufbau jedes Jahr ganz genau mit. Es ist immer wieder spannend zu sehen, wie viel Planung und Arbeit in so einem riesigen Festival stecken.

Schon vor einer Woche begannen die ersten Arbeiten: Die Wiesen wurden für die Parkflächen gemäht und auch die ersten Toiletten wurden aufgestellt. Ich bin schon gespannt, wie das Gelände aussieht, wenn ich am 10. August aus dem Urlaub zurückkomme.

Ich bin mir sicher, dass die Bühnen aufgestellt wurden und alles auf dem richtigen Platz steht. Was ich mir von Frequency 2025 erwarte, ist das Feeling. Es soll auf jeden Fall wieder gute Musik spielen, aber ich freue mich auch wieder darauf, dass es wieder jede Menge gute Laune und Spaß geben wird.

Ich wünsche mir, dass das Wetter dieses Jahr wieder angenehm warm sein wird. Aber selbst, wenn nicht, darf man sich nicht unterkriegenden lassen. Einfach den Regenmantel anziehen und tanzen, denn dann merkt man nichts anderes außer ein Lächeln im Gesicht.
Ich hoffe sehr, dass auch dieses Jahr wieder ein paar besondere Highlights geplant sind – wie z. B. eine Silent Disco, ein Riesenrad oder vielleicht wieder der Bungee-Jump-Turm für die ganz Mutigen. Auch das Line-up interessiert mich natürlich sehr.

Die Veranstalter haben in den letzten Jahren immer für gute Stimmung gesorgt, also bin ich gespannt, welche Stimmung die Künstler diesmal mitbringen. Ich freue mich schon so sehr auf Shawn Mendes, Central Cee und Will Smith.

Das Line-up dieses Jahr ist etwas ausgefallener als in den letzten Jahren da es mittlerweile schon 25 Jahre dieses fantastische Festival gibt, aber genau deshalb bin ich auch schon gespannt auf die anderen Künstler. Ich muss ehrlich gestehen das ich mich am Frequency immer frei fühle.

Die Mischung aus Musik, Camping, Essen, Tanzen und einfach das Zusammensein werde ich in den drei Tagen auf jeden Fall wieder völlig genießen.

I must honestly admit right from the start: I’m really looking forward to the festival. Just thinking about how amazing the music, the atmosphere, and the long nights full of fun will be gives me goosebumps.

Since I live right next to the festival grounds, I witness the setup closely every year. It’s always exciting to see how much planning and work goes into such a huge festival.

The first preparations already began a week ago: the meadows were mowed for parking spaces, and the first toilets were set up. I’m really curious to see what the grounds will look like when I return from my vacation on August 10. I’m sure the stages will be up and everything will be in its right place.

What I expect from Frequency 2025 is the feeling. There should definitely be good music again, but I’m also looking forward to lots of good vibes and fun. I hope the weather will be pleasantly warm again this year. But even if not, you shouldn’t let it get you down. Just put on your raincoat and dance — because then all you feel is a smile on your face. I really hope there will be some special highlights again this year — like a silent disco, a Ferris wheel, or maybe even the bungee jump tower for the truly brave.

Of course, I’m also very interested in the line-up. The organizers have always created a great atmosphere over the past few years, so I’m excited to see what vibe the artists will bring this time. I’m already really looking forward to seeing Shawn Mendes, Central Cee, and Will Smith. This year’s line-up is a bit more unusual than in previous years since this fantastic festival is celebrating its 25th anniversary — and that’s exactly why I’m also curious about the other artists.
I must honestly say that I always feel free at Frequency. The mix of music, camping, food, dancing, and simply being together — I will absolutely enjoy all of it again over these three days.
